To brew the chaga, put 2 handfuls of chaga chunks into a slow-cooker or pot filled with water. Brew on low for as long as you would like. I like long brews of over 10 hours or up to 2 days. The longer it brews the stronger it will be.
After the tea is done brewing, bottle it all up and keep it in the fridge. It is good to drink for a month. The used chunks go in the freezer till your next brew. Keep brewing the same chunks till the tea turns a lighter brown colour. After the chunks won't give any more tea try putting them in a hot bath. It has amazing purifying and healing medicine and it has been used for clearing and cleansing. I have seen chaga made into soap and beauty products. Some of my favourite recipes are chaga chai, chaga smoothies and cacao elixirs with coconut milk! Remember that chaga is a medicine the indigenous groups and shamans have used for centuries to heal all the body. The intent is the most important and the power of love and intention you put into it will integrate with you as you drink the tea of longevity.
